Invite Only And Off The Record Event

Half-Life:100

No single group has more influence over the U.S. healthcare system than enterprise benefits leaders. A private, two-day gathering of senior benefits leaders, physicians, and scientists working through the biology, the AI, and the everyday experience that are changing healthcare.

The Experience

An unforgettable experience starting before you arrive.

The two days in Napa don't start when you land — they start weeks before, with your own biology. Here's how it unfolds, from the test at your kitchen table to the last glass at Hall Winery.

01

3 months out

Your biology kit ships

An at-home genetic, gut microbiome, and blood test arrives at your door — a few minutes, done from home.

02

1 month out

Meet the group

A virtual webinar to get to know the room before you're in it — the faces, the themes, the argument.

03

Apr 14 · Midday

Arrive in Napa Valley

Check in at Silverado Resort — the golf course and the spa are yours to use around the program.

04

Apr 14 · Afternoon

Your results, in hand

Receive your testing results, private to you and yours to keep — and meals personalized to your biology from here on.

05

Apr 14–15

Network & collaborate

Work through the argument with industry peers — on panels, over long breaks, and at hosted dinners.

06

Apr 14 & 15

Keynotes

Opening and closing keynotes from physicians and scientists educating the room on the now—and the frontier—of care and healthspan.

07

Apr 15

Private hosting and tasting at Hall Winery

The room closes with a private hosting and tasting at Hall Winery — +1s welcome.

The Room

Nothing is recorded. Nothing is posted. Nothing leaves the room.

Half-Life:100 isn't a conference, and there's no audience to sit in one. Every person in the room is faculty. You'll choose your part before you arrive — a panel seat, a lightning talk, or leading a table — and you'll spend a day and a half in candid company with roughly forty peers who are just as tired of twelve disconnected breakout sessions as you are. No booths. No sponsor stage. No badge that says press.

What's said in Napa is said off the record, by design. That's the whole invitation.

Who's At The Table

Forty people. No exhibit hall. No audience.

We build this room deliberately. Senior benefits leaders — from midsize employers to Fortune 1 — set the agenda; physicians, scientists, and AI experts sharpen it. The balance keeps the conversation where it belongs: on the evidence and the economics.

The Room

Leaders who carry benefits decisions for tens of thousands of lives, and who don't have time for guesswork. Every seat is intentional. Every topic lands where the pressure sits: cost, transformation, and an innovation worth betting on.

Benefits leaders

The core of the room, and the reason it exists.

Physicians and scientists

AI Experts

The Curriculum

How biology, AI, and the consumer are changing healthcare.

Every session in Napa is examined through one of three lenses. Rather than treating them as isolated trends, they form the foundation of a single, continuous argument the room will spend two days building together.

Biology

The Future of Biology-Based Care

Artificial Intelligence

AI's role in healthcare innovation

Human Experience

How Healthcare consumption is changing

The Arc

Predict. Personalize. Participate.

One argument, carried across a day and a half — not twelve disconnected breakouts stitched into an agenda. Roughly a quarter of the clock is left unprogrammed, on purpose: the sessions make the case, the long breaks are where it actually lands.

Act I · Predict

Wed, Apr 14

Day One

What biology already knows about a claim before it happens.

MiddayArrival lunch.
Early PMOpening keynote — the real role of biology in care.
AfternoonWorking panels on obesity, metabolic, inflammatory, GI, and hormonal health.
Late PMRead Your Biology — a radiology-style session where you review your report with the expert team, then a hosted reception and dinner.

Acts II–III · Personalize / Participate

Thu, Apr 15

Day Two

From biology-matched care to a framework you can use Monday.

MorningCare at Zero — what happens to benefits cost when the marginal cost of care approaches zero and biology unifies care across metabolic and inflammatory conditions.
MiddayLightning round — attendees on the one number that changed their strategy this year, then lunch.
AfternoonWorking session — tables co-author sections of a field guide, then present their read-outs to the room.
Late PMClosing keynote, then the room closes for the day.
EveningPrivate hosting and tasting at Hall Winery — +1s welcome.

Half-Life:100 is invitation only

If you'd like to be considered for the room, tell us a bit about yourself and how you'd like to contribute: a panel seat, a lightning talk or leading a table.

Every request is read by the Half-Life:100 team. You'll hear back by email.

What Is Half-Life:100

Half-Life:100 is built on a different premise: illness is optional

The chronic conditions driving healthcare costs are not inevitabilities of age. They are biological diseases — and biological diseases can be intercepted. Medicine has become very good at adding years to life and strikingly bad at adding health to those years: in the U.S., the gap between lifespan and healthspan now runs 12.4 years.

This initiative exists to put the genuine frontier of precision biology and AI-orchestrated care into the hands of the enterprise benefits leaders who can deploy it at a population scale. It is our way of giving back to the community of benefits leaders, and to society — driving a more cost-effective, healthier future for the country.
